Bugtong Bugtong | part 1

1. Ang aso ko sa Malabon, lumukso ng pitong balon; umulit ng pitong gubat bago nagtanaw dagat. (My dog in Malabon jumped over seven wells; it jumped again over seven forests before it saw the sea.)
2. Sa pitong magkatoto lima lamang ang naging santo. (Of the seven friends, only five became saints).
3. Kung bayaa’s nabubuhay, kung himasi’y namamatay. (If you leave it alone it will live; if you caress it, it will die)
4. Mukha ko’y totoong tinikan, busilak ang kalooban. (May face maybe full of thorns but my soul is pure).
